It is in the Seine-et-Marne, Ile de France province of France. The area is the renowned home of the French Impressionist Painters. This website will give you information on the “essence and richness” of the life provided in the “Ile de France” region.

It is a 40 minute train ride from the Gare de Lyon in the center of Paris. For this reason, your vacation plans could easily include a week in the city of Paris and one in the Ile de France countryside.

We have called the chateau that we are renting “Papillon Mignon.” (The "Little Butterfly")
