In the case of general needs or assistance please call Jonas Berg who speaks excellent English. Jonas lives in Arbonne a short 7 minutes from the house. He is very capable and can undoubtedly solve most any problem. He is very apt in the heat, light, water and general functioning of the house.

Jonas will check with guests in the morning the first days of their stay in order to assure that there are no questions or special needs.

Jonas is also an excellent teacher of hiking, and climbing in and around the Fontainebleau forests. He will gladly accompany guests on bike rides or walks. Jonas is very well versed in all the areas throughout the forest and is an excellent guide. Charges for this service are 18E per hour or 120E per day.

New arrivals might also need help finding the village restaurants or at least he could point out the locations before dinner reservations. In general, Jonas would be a great guide for sightseeing in general, for the towns, or for a run into Paris itself. It would be wise to setup an itinerary for his help at the time of booking or as early as possible.

Maid Service

Maid service is provided and included in the rental three times a week for 3 hours in the main house. In the small apartment, the maid comes once a week. This includes general house cleanup. If you want additional cleaning it runs 15 Euros per hour and arrangements for this needs to be made at the time of booking. Sheets would customarily be changed (not ironed) once a week unless previously specified.

If you are pleased with her work a tip of 15 Euros for a week or 40-50 Euros per month would undoubtedly be appreciated.

Reservations for dinner or activities

If you indicate at the time of booking your need for reservations, (dinner or other activities), we will be pleased to assist with some bookings. Last minute reservations can be arranged through Jonas Berg. Tipping Jonas for these services would be appreciated and simplify for guests who do not correspond fluently in French.
