There is a very efficient metro service in France. If you do not have much luggage, you can get on the metro at Charles de Gaulle (1-2E per person). Take "RER" line "B" to Chatelet change to metro 14 "direction Bibliotheque Francois Mitterand". It is one stop to the Gare de Lyon. Trains depart every hour for the Fontainebleau-Avon station. The cost to Fontainebleau is approximately 15E per person and the ride takes about 35-40 minutes. |
